What to do for Halloween in Newcastle

Posted on October 16, 2018

Whether you’re a student, visitor or just looking for some fun this Halloween, there’s a whole range of spooky treats available in Newcastle this year.

In terms of parties, Illegitimate will be bringing you ‘Skint Halloween’, filled with £1 shots and three rooms of great tunes. Perfect for those celebrating the night on a budget.

If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, check out Powerhouse’s ‘Purge House Party’. With tickets starting at just £6, you’ll be treated (no tricks) to a night of UV lights, polytechnics and amazing decorations.

Starting a little earlier, Aveika’s ‘Halloween Brunch: Dusk till Dawn’ promises bottomless bubbles, cocktails, food platters and live entertainment from 7pm right up until 3am.

At Livello you will be invited to dress up and dance whilst being entertained by the Dark Circus’ death-defying stunts at their ‘CIRQ Halloween Special’.

Something a Bit Different

Tired of just partying on Halloween? There is a whole range of exciting ways to spend your Halloween in Newcastle outside the clubs.

Head to the Hotel du Vin for a trip underground at their ‘Tales of Terror’ event. Filled with ghost stories, your ticket also includes wine tasting and a Bloody Mary on arrival.

Or check out Science at Life after-hours for their ‘Bewitching Bots’ spectacular: a night of science experiments, special effects make up and laser mazes. Plus, have your Halloween drinks poured by robots for a truly science-fiction-filled evening. With tickets starting at £8, it’s an excellent alternative to a club night for those looking for something a little bit different.

Finally, let’s not forget ‘Holy Trannity and Dragged Up Presents Heels of Hell’ at the O2 Academy this Halloween, featuring RuPaul stars Sharon Needles and Alaska Thunderfuck.

Wherever you end up this Halloween, Property by Nest offer a huge range of studio apartments and en-suite rooms in the best areas of Newcastle, to ensure you’re close to the action.
